Coxswain Grade 3
There are a few different pathways to obtaining a coxswain grade 3. To qualify for this you will need.
  • Recreational boat license.
  • Complete a minimum of 1 day of commercial sea service, which we arrange on one of our commercial vessels if you do not already have it.
  • Certificate of Medical Fitness – Domestic Seafarers (AMSA 1850). This is a basic medical that you can have done at your GP. You will need to download the form from the AMSA web site and take it with you to the GP.
  • A current first aid certificate.
